Gripper is an Excellent Product

I use the Gripper on my straps used to secure loads on my motorcycle. The Gripper helps keep the straps in place and prevents the straps from damaging the paint, etc. on my motorcycle.

Wrap tie review

Great product and service, very happy

Useful and flexable

So far these straps are really handy. I spotted an old surfboard for sale the other day and bought it. Only problem was the ute I was in had no racks. I got one of the kits with the rubber grab things so I put them on and wrapped the strap around the board and attached it to the anchor point in the tray. 150km of highway @ 110kph and the board didn't move. The rubber thing held the board so tight and I didn't need to worry about crushing a rail(I pulled it medium tight) or the the strap getting lose and needing re-doing. Overall I'm pleasantly surprised with how prefect they are for carrying boards

Wraptie is AWESOME!!

I have used my straps for so many things in my truck bed - from ski season through moving kids home from college, so far. Happy that I found the Grippers as well - great for protecting my OC1 on the truck.

Gripper Wraptie

Excellent!

Good but not great

These came in the bundle package that I ordered. I immediately placed a few on the largest of the straps for use on securing things to my hitch carrier. I was looking for 2 things from these. 1st to add the "friction" of rubber against materials for additional grip. 2nd to provide protection between the strap and the frame where the strap was looped through to prevent rubbing, etc. For additional grip they work great, perhaps a bit fiddly to get located perfectly. For protection between strap and tensions points, they work ok. The major issue is that they don't adjust easily on the straps for precise positioning (can slide & bunch up with strap tensioning). The design is to thread onto the strap is sound, though I'd like to try some with hook / loop backing that could be placed onto the straps via hook / loop rather than threaded onto the strap. I feel like this would allow me to get the gripper exactly where I want with minimal fuss. This would probably mean an increase in cost, but may be worth it.

Thanks for the detailed reivew. The difficulty in adjustment is actually comes from a trade off between using recycled rubber (Softer) or not. The more we use the less easily it can be adjusted but we wanted to use recycled rubber to be able to offset some of the rubber waste around the world. Hopefully, we found the middle ground!
